This coming Sunday in our church is going to be an exciting time. I just got back from a meeting with about 80-90 people who are going to be baptized on Sunday. Two people from my small group have asked me to baptize them. It’s quite an honor.
One of the things I was thinking through tonight as I was driving home was how much I can tend to get caught up in “my own world.” All I can see around me are the things that pertain to me. How selfish, small, ego-centric, and ethno-centric is that?!?!
There are far more important things in life. If you haven’t taken my recommendation to go read Seth Barne’s blog yet, you need to do so. Go click on his link in the upper right corner where I list my links. You will find groups of youth who are abandoning it all to share with others the greatest Treasure of all – Jesus.
Forgive me for my selfishness and help me to be an instrument so that there can be Super Sundays across the globe.
