MLM Leads Aren't for Sissies

One of the worst things in the world to be called when I was a kid growing up was a "Sissie."  That meant you had no spine.  You weren't brave.  You gave up too easy.   In today's world of MLM Leads, the same could be said… that sissies don't need to bother buying MLM Leads.  For some of the same reasons, and also including, not taking full responsibility for one's actions, blaming everyone else, etc. 

Here's the deal.  If you are ever going to be successful using Network Marketing Leads, you must understand these 3 things:

1. You need to persevere.  Perseverance requires strength, focus, and determination to push through to victory.  Mickey Rooney of 60-Minutes used to say, "You always pass failure on the way to success."  And, he was so RIGHT!  You're going to have to overcome people hanging up, people saying no, people saying they never signed up for this, nobody answering the phone, etc.  If you need a lesson on Perseverance, then I highly recommend instead of buying another batch of leads, invest that money and go to a Dani Johnson weekend seminar.  You will come out of there with perseverance to change your life.
2. You must be willing to do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do.  When I first got involved in network marketing, I joined Mannatech.  I don't work their business anymore, but I still take their products.  But, I'll never forget meeting a guy named Jett.  He has been their #1 income earner for over 15 years now.  Why?  Because he is the one who taught me, "Form the habit of doing what the unsuccessful people don't like to do."  What don't unsuccessful people like to do?
   • Call for 2 - 3 hours on the phone every night
   • Give up American Idol or Gladiators to call prospects
   • Follow-up with prospects
   • Be proactive.  Unsuccessful people believe if a person was really interested, they would come to them.
   • Be the driver of your team, rather than just a passenger
   • Fail
3. Get some good leads.  If you aren't familiar with Ty Tribble and his MLMBlog, you're missing some good information.  I couldn't agree more with Ty in his article on how leads can be a nightmare.  If you're buying your leads from just any place that advertises on the Internet, or that you find while searching on the 15th page of Google, then you better have a whole lot more perseverance.  Buying crappy leads will be a nightmare.  No one ever said MLM Leads were easy, but if you buy from the wrong company, then your life is going to be a whole lot harder.  If you're going to do it right, then get the right leads.  Don't just go buying any ole leads.  Get some good leads.  If you want to see a list of the top 10 leads companies, go and visit the top mlm leads companies at Leads Center. 

Anyway, the bottom line is - MLM Leads are gold in the hands of the person who is focused and perseveres, but they are a nightmare in the hands of a sissie.
